Country Women’s Association -

• Member since 1979.

• Held office as Branch President Collinsvale, State Editor, State Vice President.

•  Convenor of ACWW World Conference in Hobart 2004

Collinsvale.

• Past president of Collinsvale Community Association Inc., CWA and Hall Ctees.

• Convenor of Collinsvale Show for 10 years.

• Inaugurated Australia Day Lunch for Seniors (with Geoff Phillips),

• Local fruit grower and business person.

• Member of local history group, Myrtle Forest Task Force and Arts and Enterprise Task Force.

Multi-cultural and community commitments.

• Member of the Dutch Australian Society and  International Music Society, and involvement with Philippino Society and other multicultural groups. Past Board member of the Migrant Resource Centre.

• Member of the Glenorchy Reconciliation Group and current Co-Chair of Achieving Reconciliation Tasmania (the Tasmanian peak body for Reconciliation), trustee of the Aunty Ida West Wybalenna Trust Fund

• Member of Rotary Club of Glenorchy, currently International Director

• Chairman of the Australian Rosny Children’s Choir Committee of Management 2004-5

• Chairman of the Claremont Community College Board of Management 2005 -

• St John’s Catholic Parish Glenorchy, past Parish Council member,  1997 inaugurated and still present annual series of Summer Music Concerts.

• Development Officer for Womensport and Recreation Tasmania.
